Hi aina, I like your design very much! The main menu page is fresh and cute, the appropriate font and size make it easy to understand the purpose of this page, and the color change when clicking the button also gives me clear feedback! The buttons for controlling the main characters are also neatly arranged, no invalid options, and each button performs their tasks well. The only shortcoming is that the environment is a bit poor, but I believe you will improve it in your future work.
I really liked the overall theme of the game, gives a cute with zombie theme. I also like the theming that you have done with the colours, which really complement each other and the font as well. I have some feedback on user experience as a general user.
It is evident that you have well-implemented UX principles. I can clearly see that you have tried to create a hierarchy in the menu scene by creating a panel and making the font and button larger, but one thing that I can see is that there might not be enough contrast between the menu button text and button colour which might cause usability issue in some use cases. Besides that the menu screen is perfect.
The font type that you have chosen is perfect for the theme of the game, and the backdrop really creates a good user experience for the game theme that you are aiming for. Overall, I had a very good user experience using your grey box project.
The consistency principles has been used well on the main menu page.
Each button element is sized equally as the others and the different distance between the upper buttons and the lower "quit" button fullfills the UI principles in terms of hierarchy.
I especially appreciate the color palette for the background as it fits the theme really nicely.
The happy atmosphere is well conveyed through the color choice. The black font on the pink buttons makes it more accessible too.
The back panel enhances the priority of the UI elements as it makes the background more transparent. It helps with user control as it reduces the misclicking on accident on other menu objects.
One thing I would improve is the position of the main menu button on the second scene. It is not really consistent with the overall theme.
Your game looks amazing. Very well developed and nicely presented. You did an excellent job fully modeling your scene. It's hard work, and you did it very well.
